July 20, 2010 -- I need to get a blog package installed. I apologize to the incumbant Democrats, who just passed the extended unemployment bill. I was upset by the delay prior to the 4th of July recess, and felt that all incumbants were responsible for the deadlock. After reading the recent news posts, I see that it is again the "Just say no" Republicans blocking the issue.
Question: If the Republican "superstar" could get her chin back in place from the dropping on the news of her daughter's engagement, I wonder what she would have to say about this legislaton. On second thought, do I really care?--NO!
I am a retired Disabled Veteran who has been unemployed since January of 2009. I have exhausted all of my unemployment benefits and have been unable to find a full time job. With this latest extension, if it passes the House, I will be able to make my mortgage payment for July. I do not understand how these so called "Political Leaders" (translate "Republicans") can go on vacation and leave the poor and umemployed hanging like they did. What would they do if they had to survive on unemployment? It must be nice to be worried about where to go on vacation, rather than where am I going to get food for my family.
July 20, 2010 -- OMG, I retired from the US Air Force in 1995, and I have never displayed my retirement certificate because it was signed by "I never had sex with her Bill". But Hillary got off the dime today with her inquiry into the release of the Lockerbie bomber. Just because Bill couldn't spell integrity, I can't hold that against Hillary.
So YCNFS (You Can Not Fix Stupid), but you can vote the "just say no" Republicans out of office.
